We're so pleased to be able to offer Canton Tea - This Moroccan mint is so moreish one cup won't be enough
Egypt and Vietnam (green tea: Van Chan Co-operative, Yen Bai). Expertly blended for Canton in France.
The high-quality green tea that creates a softer blend is from ancient trees growing wild in the mountains of Vietnam. We blend this tea with Egyptian spearmint, peppermint and liquorice root for a deliciously moreish tea. The liquorice adds a natural sweetness, so there’s no need for sugar.
Taste & Aroma: Green tea and mint blends are traditionally drunk in Morocco throughout the day, often with sugar, for their zesty, refreshing flavour and gentle kick of energy. We’ve added a touch of liquorice root to our blend to replace the need for sugar, adding natural sweetness and a warm, aromatic herbaceousness.
Mint is widely recognised to ease digestion, making it a great drink after a meal. Wild tea is also thought to have significantly higher polyphenol content than cultivated tea. |
